The Center of Workforce Innovations Announces RFID Employer Seminars on November 16th by BlueBean

/Indiana News Articles/ - VALPARAISO, IN, October 19, 2007 - BlueBean, the RFID Solutions Company, will be presenting a seminar about the uses and benefits of radio frequency identification (RFID) technology on November 16th to area employers as part of The Center of Workforce Innovations' RFID training program.

"This seminar will provide employers in this area with the information they need to decide if RFID would be a beneficial addition to their facility," says Sandra Tuman, Senior Workforce Associate for The Center of Workforce Innovations. "What many companies may not realize is how RFID can save them time and money, especially those in the TDL (transportation, distribution and logistics) industries."

The seminar will be held at Ivy Tech Community College in Valparaiso on November 16th. Participants can choose between two different times, 9-11 am or 1-3 pm. Participants will be charged a nominal $25 fee for time and materials.

The seminar will answer the following questions:
• What is RFID technology?
• How is RFID used in the various industries?
• What are the benefits of implementing RFID solutions?
• How can RFID be used in tracking and managing inventory?
• How can my company use RFID to provide secure yard access for trucks and trailers?
